s f I agree. I am an American who’s great grandparents left Ireland because they were being hunted by the Brits for their involvement in the IRB ( Irish Republican Brotherhood). I was raised on Irish history and continued to study as an adult. I pray for a United Ireland free of foreign rule. I promised my Great Grandmother that someday I would return our family to Donegal. May God bless you and the Irish people both in Ireland and those forced through oppression to scatter across the globe. I believe it’s time for us to return.

Britain wouldn't give N.Ireland back BC the Brit's didn't want to take the unwanted, they said leave them with the Irish and let them cause murder and instability. That's the only rational reason.

I grew up in a small town called Corby in the middle of England, it had a lot of Scottish and Irish living there and I can remember whenever you met someone you didn't know the very first question you asked them was , " are you catholic or protestant ", it seems an odd thing to start a conversation with now but at the time in the 80s it felt completely normal.

The confusing thing with Ireland is that they don't want to be ruled over by Britain, but they have No problem with the EU rulling over them. EU is a less favorible option then England in my point-of-view. If you want to be a
Proud and a Free country Then don't be a member of The EU. Stand on your own two feet and leave any affiliation like EU, NATO or UN because that Will make you look like
    A bounch of idiots.
