if i could, i would travel all the way over from germany, just to taste your candies (and to get pulled by maggie ;)
Looks good candy does too lol!
To the young lady doing the candy pulling: You're very pretty. ; )
They have a sousaphone (pronounced sues-a-phone) with a the grinch on it
Sir, that's a Dr. Suess -a-phone. Palheeze ...
can I pay by money order?
You should make a store tour video!!!
Do best ally Israel next please
Fix that damm hook the wobble drives me insane!
Oh I forgot, what is the spoon made of that you stir the coloring into the sugar with? That was a poorly structured sentence...sorry.💖
+Mindy Vaughn pure love tempered with the joy of candy making, cooled in the forges of happiness.
This is so beautiful. It looks somewhat more difficult than others you have made. I'm going to have to watch it again.💖
How long does it take for the candy to turn white?
+Sarah Scheidt depending on the day and on how big a batch were doing they can take from 2 to 8 minutes. On some of our videos show the full process in actual speed. Keep in mind these are very small batches so there a bit fast.
anyone here who's Greek?
Sofia KatyCat and that fact made u tear up with laughter?
I asked that cause I'm Greek 😂😂
+Theodoros Maraziotis :)
can you please make a birthday cake image candy??
Did it. Look for our video on the birthday of our candy table
"millefiori" actually means "thousand flowers"
you guys should hit that candy pulling hook thing wit a hammer so all the candy would come off i seen other people do it in another video when they make candy
Adding the hard candy can promote crystallization of the whole batch. We are using a hook from the 1800's now, and it's so much better. The candy almost never sticks.
Pls do the Maryland flag
Then pay them to :~)
Lol how about the Milwaukee flag?
love watching tour videos
You skipped making the cross!! After seeing strawberry, watermelon, and the US flag, the cross was the unique feature I was hoping would be shown. oh well
S'ok. Seeing the red & white D6 was super impressive!
Sorry, camera missed that.
Absolutely Love your sousaphone!!Also your candy turned out beautiful as always!!
how do u clean the hook? and does it make a difference in how the candy pulls if there is already some build up on the hook like in this vid or a bare hook?
It depends on the flavor. If you have peppermint on the hook and your making a mild flavor like peach, it might. But normally the next layer of candy sticks to the hook too, and it acts like a barrier to the flavor on the hook.As for cleaning. Candy is water soluble. The hook detaches from the wall and is put in a bath of water. No effort.
here's a challenge, make canadian flag in a candy how about that
Happy to make for a custom order.
Man if i had the funds right now I'd be getting some custom stuff done up with a mix flavor like root beer type candy with another flavor that works well with it, but man that looks good.
Darien Ravenwolf root beer and ice cream!
+Darien Ravenwolf Maybe also see if it can be done with a foxy type design inside, also the tardis candy looks really awesome
I'm pretty sure you're Greg. So you might want to consider saying "I'm doing such and such". Just my two cents, I've really been enjoying your videos.
I seriously thought I was going crazy when I heard that
what do you do with the blob you pinch off before you pull the thin logs?
They are sold as 'Unicorn Droppings' at a low price.
Not sure which video but they said they cut them off, call them "unicorn drops" and break them into smaller pieces and sell them for a discounted price in store.
I think I heard in a video once that they sell them for a lower price
very nice work!! very nice music on the background!!! Greetings from Greece!!!!
What do you do with the leftover candy which isn't used in the log?

+Lofty Pursuits Really!? I'd love to go see ye but 1000s of kilometres away
+Eddie not yet. Keep in mind these are not just for decoration. The marching band uses the regularly.
+Lofty Pursuits brilliant names. And they look fair class aswell, just as good as the sweets. Any pics of the drums?
Love the sousaphone decoration
you should see the flamethrower trombone or the Franken Drums. I like restoring and building new instruments for the band. Did you see the sarlacaphone?
greek-cypriot here 😅😅😁😁😁
I could honestly watch you make candy all day!
Thanks for showing the whole pulling of the sugar to the white, I wondered how long it took as the other videos always cut it short.
+Jimmy Shot Some of our videos show the whole thing, some don't We trying to mix it up so that there is variety in our videos. A few people want me to make a supercut of just sugar pulling. I may do it some time.
It would mean the world to me if you(Lofty Pursuits) tell me that you would like for me to work at your shop......really
Yes because he's going to tell some random person on the internet that they can work at his store.
how do the scissors cut the candy so easily
+Benjamin Ayon Lots of leverage.
I am so happy you guys are on TVclip or I would never have found you made two orders already!
+Christopher Horoshak Thank you.
what happens to the giant blob of candy that got cut off when it was stretching out? do you throw them away? or do they have other uses?
+Lofty Pursuits ohhhh thanks for replying I've been curious about that blob ever since I saw these videos. Sounds nice having some grinded unicorn droppings on my tea. fancy that
+Melisa Meow We sellnit and people break it up to eat, use it on baking, grind it up for fruit flavors sugars for tea. We call the lumps Unicorn Droppings.
Nice timing at 8:34. :D These videos are getting better! Very chill. Love the addition of the swing music.
+Gray Thank you. Been learning how to improve the videos. Love KdenLive an opensource video editor that I will give mad props to.
I preferred the unedited un narorated vids better
+Thecyberknight1 I agree, but people were complaining about those, so I'm making a bunch of different kinds. I'm not sure what people are enjoying, but I'm having fun.

You have to go to culinary school and learn how to safely work and shape the molten candy ^-^
Loving the quality of the new videos!
What is the average wage for a candy worker at this company?
How hot does the sugar have to be for hard candy
+Kyle Wray The temperature is called Hard Ball, but this temperature is not fixed. It depend on your altitude and ambient humidity so I can't give you an exact number for your location. The information is out there. I'm not trying to avoid answering, but I really cant.
Its so weird. These are so therapeutic

can you guys do the Canadian flag
+allyson marshburn I think so. The maple leaf will be tricky, but possible.
She is pretty
Got my candy in the mail and my favorite is the cinnamon hearts. So good.
+Kim Snedeger Thank you
I planned on asking about the citric acid, but you read my mind and answered before I got around to it . I feel like I have to order candy from this establishment. Handmade beautifully fun candy.
Yeah they are. They look finely powered, but i can see how the citric acid could make the clear parts of the candy look kinda 'dirty' in a way.
It confused me that he said powdered, but then later white specs. So I think it's like normal citric acid crystals you can get--just like refined sugar.
