Tragic Details About Kelsey Grammer Have Finally Become Clear

  • Frasier may be one of the biggest sitcoms of all time, but the off-screen life of the show's star hasn't always been a hit. Suffering the loss of those closest to him, fighting to overcome addiction, and struggling to pass on his legacy, this is Kelsey Grammer's tragic real-life story.
In 1968, when Grammer was just 13 years old, a man broke into his father's home and shot him to death. Grammer told E!,
"[The assailant] lit a ring of fire around his house and as my father came down to investigate what was going on, he […] shot him several times and […] dad died."
Unfortunately, there would be little justice for the family. According to People magazine, the killer was "found not guilty by reason of insanity."
Grammer later found a father figure in his TV dad, Martin Crane, played by English actor John Mahoney.
"We're not leaving you at home, you're coming with us, wouldn't be any fun without you. Oh really dad? I was so hoping that you would say that."
Even years after Frasier wrapped, the two remained friends - until Mahoney's passing in 2018. Grammer mourned the loss, tweeting, quote, "He was my father. I loved him."

Who would have known. An actor with a basic life. Literally nothing special about this. Millions of families have the same problems. But yeah they are not famous right? So who gives a shit.

No mention of his affair with an underaged “nanny” that he employed, and deserted his family over? Or is that just a forgotten rumor from the past? Any other guy would have faced serious jail time, even back then.

@steve t thanks. And you are right everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Right now this is a raw nerve because of Epstein. We are finding out that every political figure in the last 30 years is having sex with kids. Before Epstein there was another guy. He ran boystown.

I take the accusations seriously because I was sexually abused as a 4 year old. No one understood what was going on. The cheap daycares my parents dropped me off at. And I didn't know how to explain it. As a child I tried to block out all the memories that hurt. That is a natural human behavior.
I ask you one question. Would you leave your beautiful 13 year old daughter alone with Kelsey Grammar?

    • Mark Johnston
      Mark Johnston 8 days ago

steve t there was no evidence. It’s was just an accusation that the baby sitter made more than a year later.
