How did that NOT break your thumb!
Hallo, deutscher Kollege
😂.. what was those gloves going to do?
@3:13 great u look away while bringing two powerful magnets together
Ohh man,hope u recovered fully 🤔
I just ordered an 250lb neodymium magnet. What can i expect and what to beware of?
The hospital found out it was not broken?
I am from India have many doubts in mechanism of magnets in my project can u pls help me...Pls let me other mode of conversation ...like whatsapp or messngers..pls
Oh my, someone truly has a *MAGNETIC* personality! :DDDDDDDDDDD
ARE THE MAGNETS OKAY????!!!
That is dangerous. Be careful using super magnets.
I remember injuring myself using magnets when I was a kid... never thought magnets were this dangerous.
Im going to put a large neodymium magnet on one side of my head and a steel plate on the other.
How did that turn out for you?
Mang ugger fun crush skill'Many brain got damuged!Ow very hunts now :(

RLScience EN I just found your channel. Wonder if you could help me out. What size and type of magnet would you recommend to achieve 2.5mH at a distance of 8in? What spin or oscillation rate would be required? Thank you for your time and thanks for showing the dangers of these magnets.
Bet you only do that one time HOW did that feel silly
Good better best
I cringed watching you leave your thumb in the way and looking away. Almost as if you wanted to do that
This video was originally filmed in German. I synced it and created this english channel to show, what could go wrong with magnets. I went to hospital, because my thumb was not able to move, it became twice its size and it was impossible to check, if there was something broken. The doctor asked what happend. When I told him, he couldn't believed it and I should send him the clip, when I was back home. And when you criticize my English: It is not my first language, but I am able to speak in YOUR language. Can you talk to me in German? I don't think so...
Ich glaube nicht, dass jemand dein Englisch beurteilt hat.
Ich spreche etwas Deutsch. Hast du dich erholt?I hope that wasn't too bad.
Thank you for the excellent video. People have joked about the amount of safety procedures I take when using magnets. Now I can show them this video.
ur English is excellent, actually
Thank you for sharing! It takes more courage to upload a negative experience to help others than it does to anonymously leave negative feedback.
You made me cringe putting your fingers in the way. Why not put your hand in a car door and pull it out before your friend slams it .
It sounds like the magnetic fields have given him a brain speech disorder. LOL
John Evatt dude, he's german, english is not his first language. Why don't you try to speak german so we can laugh at you?
Good to know...Thanks for the video...
That is not blood its fake
wow dude, either learn to sync your fucking audio or just stop doing retarded voice over and just actually TALK though the camera mic you fucking retard
paul leonard You sound like a kid. He did it well. This is an educational video, not a vlog or some Pewdiepie vid so he didn't have to talk to the video. Go home, freak. You clearly have no idea about video making and all you know is the generic type of videos that Ricegum makes.
Dismissing all the negative comments, this is an important video to show the potential dangers of strong neodymium magnets. I had two neodymium magnets stuck together - 7/8" diameter x 1/2" thick. The only way I could part them was by putting one in a wooden vice and tightening it, then I slid the other one away free.
+Philip Dawes Thank you for your comment!
high end safety wall looks like a pool recliner- repurposed of course !
Spanky Harland shut up! Rat-Head!!
It took me months to separate two N52 2X1X1/5 inch magnets. Finally separated them with my desk drawer,
A lot of the comments here are really hard to read I lost brain cells trying to comprehend them
Why the f@$$ did you have your thumb there ????? anyway the neodymium magnet will lose its magnetism when heated above its Curie point.
How could you not think of removing any body part in the way of the attraction area? is so logical as touching fire dude.
You should wear eye protection with even smallestl Neod magnets, they do chip easily and very sharp, you dont want the fragments in your eyes. Careful handling is really important tvclip.biz/video/0t8yDnyOaQ8/video.html
how stupid is dis guy?
'Dis' guy.....oh the irony
charliepapa for real
You seriously went to the hospital for a cut thumb.... grow some balls.
+David Horgan I can't move my thumb, it became twice its normal size. So it was impossible to check the bones by touching it.
Kuroshitsuji Huh? Just touch/move suspected bone. If in two places when it should be one. THEN go to the hospital. Stop wasting limited medical resources.
@Chad fGiven the crushing event where his thumb got caught in between two powerful magnets I seriously believe he went to the hospital to have an x-ray rather than having a few cuts washed. Maybe the part where the man stated that the doctors found no broken bones wasn’t clear enough for you?
Making sure your bone isn't fractured, and heals properly isn't cowardly you fool.
The human body needs to be hurt and broken from time to time that's how we grow! I'm with Chad, grow some balls. I nearly broke one of my fingers a week ago, it's getting better...haven't been off the hospital...it will repair itself...This is one of the problems with people these days...you cut yourself and it's off the hospital..damn it...people play around with things they really shouldn't be playing with and then they get hurt..well,....? Maybe he should have a first aid kit around his house..I do DIY stuff from time to time and have a kit right where I do my work.....just an idea, cheaper then going off to the hospital.
omg frenchie got a huge bandage for a tiny cut lol, no wonder there over run with mudslims
I think he is danish
He is german
lukomoon ? Tiny cut?
Ouch... that'll teach you to be more careful... wow
sir...can you tell size of the magnet ?
alex smits is an ASSHOLE AND A FUCKING BITCH THAT IS NOT PHOTOSHOPPED NERD
this is not fake i too have been hurt by a much smaller magnet and it was the same result but much less dramatic.with blood.
How do you photoshop a video??👏👏👏
Having hit my thumb with a hammer too many times I can say that the damage looks real, but that bandaging was excessive. That's doctors for you.
RLScience EN Adobe premiere or ketchup maybe? To me it looks fake as well. Your thumb looks like it went in the gap between the metal plates.
