I have watched this speech every week since the globes. Oprah has always been a hero of mine and for many reasons of which I wont go I to here she has been a small part of my life being saved, more than once. If ever there was a voice that we needed more than ever, its hers. She has been a consistent force in the world. How she uses her voice, her experience and her clarity in explaining the darkness in humans is second to none. This speech cements the powerhouse that she is. There is no one like oprah or even comes close to power that she exudes, a power that she work hard for against all the odds as a black woman in Hollywood. She is quite simply the very best and I am beyond grateful that in my lifetime I had a human such as oprah to help nurture and guide me even through my darkest times. Forever always grateful for oprah and the legacy that she has made and continues to make

"they become the leaders who take us to the time where no one has to say, "Me Too" again! Wow! What a visionary! This is on par with Four scores and seven years ago...how inspirational. I can't stop listening to it and it was done a year and 8 months ago.

Oprah won a major award, and accepted that award, giving us a master class in not only how to accept an award, but in how to be a humble human being. Somehow she made it about others. Very classy.

I just dislike her, something is wrong about her. A feeling I can't explain. And I dont like people everyone says is amazing, to me that means something is not right. Oprah is not God, so why are people acting to be so impressed by such common advice " be true To yourself....." ?

Johnta how do you know she knew what was going on?? I can’t stand people’s opinion. Oprah has always been about women power if you feel like she knew about Harvey you’re dumb. What could she have done??

This woman has no defect. OPRAH, YOU ARE A PERFECT PEARL OF WAKANDA.
This video is brilliant! It gave me strength, courage and enthusiasm. She has great body language, diction and eloquence, and that speech was empowering! I fixed several sentences in my mind and will send to my cousins now. The examples brought by oprah made everything more visible. I love you so much! What an exciting trajectory. You deserve. I loved it so much and will watch more speeches like this every week.

This speech is extremely important, because, beyond a simple speech, it is a historical mark. Imagine how it was for Oprah to see, after a long time, the first black person to be honored in a gym and now being able to inspire others, as it was, is a very powerful event. I believe this speech is a great empathy's exercise for white people, like me, can minimally understand the power of representativeness for people who, in a painful historical process, have been denied it. I believe these words will cross the ages and reach future generations with the same impact.
