Seven months have passed since a deadly virus hit New York City and the rest of the world, crippling the population. When the virus hit, The Division, a unit of civilian sleeper agents, was activated as the last line of defense. Since then, Division agents have been fighting relentlessly to save what remains.
For The Division, the stakes are higher than ever. Washington, D.C. - the most heavily protected city on earth - is at risk, leaving the entire nation on the brink of collapse. If Washington, D.C., is lost, then the nation falls. As a Division agent who has been in the field for seven months, you and your team are the last hope to stop the fall of society after the pandemic collapse.
Developed by Ubisoft Massive and the same teams that brought you Tom Clancy’s The Division®, Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2 is an online open world, action shooter RPG experience set in a collapsing and fractured Washington, D.C. This rich new setting combines a wide variety of beautiful, iconic, and realistic environments where the player will experience the series’ trademark for authenticity in world building, rich RPG systems, and fast-paced action like never before. Play solo or co-op with a team of up to four players to complete a wide range of activities, from the main campaign and adversarial PvP matches to the Dark Zone - where anything can happen.
In the wake of the virus, storms, flooding, and subsequent chaos have radically transformed Washington, D.C. Explore a living open world full of diverse environments, from flooded urban areas to historic sites and landmarks, during one of the hottest summers in history. The streets have been overrun with enemy factions, each with its own agenda and each vying for control of DC. It will be up to you to liberate the city and protect what remains of society.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 was built with an “endgame-first” mentality, ensuring players always have access to fresh, unique, and diverse activities long after completing the main campaign. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2’s endgame will introduce brand new challenges and progression systems, unique twists and surprises, and for the first time, raids. Players will also be able to access a wealth of post-launch content, including a full year of free additional story-driven missions, map expansions, and gameplay modes.
After completing the main campaign, gain access to new specializations such as demolitionist, sharpshooter, and survivalist. Each specialization will open up an entire new progression system with new skills, mods, and unique talents to acquire and maximize your agent efficiency in your chosen role.
Civilians and enemy factions are constantly striving to survive, vying for necessities such as food, medicine, and ammunition. As the factions face off against each other in a ravaged DC, they will fight to seize control of resources and locations - and for their very survival. The various needs and motivations from each faction will collide, triggering different encounters between enemy and friendly factions, civilians, and ultimately you as an Agent, creating a dynamic living world full of surprises.
Civilians have banded together in settlements to rebuild their society, but their very existence is threatened. Work closely with them to keep them safe and in turn, they will come to your aid and provide supplies and assistance to build up your base of operations, giving a deeper meaning to the people and the world around you.
The Dark Zone is an untamed area of the map with some of the best loot in the game. The Dark Zone is also the most dangerous area in the game, where fear, betrayal, and tension are high, as any other agent can turn against you and steal your hard-earned loot. In Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, this playground was designed to provide a fair and exciting experience to all players, regardless of their level of progression.

Thanks for fixing the specialization not loading issue. In doing so you created another issue. Now when choosing loadouts with seekers the skill won’t activate as if the skill slot is empty. You have to change seekers to another skill then switch back to seekers for it to activate.

Just go back to how the division 1 was it hit different yes there was stupid stuff but man the grind was fun and getting gear and seeing how it was more of an rpg was so awesome now it feels like I am playing destiny. The stat rolls on everything was so amazing because I could actually see what I am focusing on. This game feels dumbed down and don’t get me started on dark zone just go back to the division 1 ways please just rework all of it I know you guys can start from the ground up this shouldn’t be this hard.

I have been a loyal PVP player since division 1. Almost all the other loyal pvpers are leaving because the game is unplayable. Whatever you guys did ruined the stability of the game. Bullets do not register very often to the point you randomly die from full armor. This is a lag/sync issue with this game because this does not happen to me in other games. Many others are reporting the same thing. Dzs also are not populating like they did the first few weeks tu6 came out. Landmarks are not turning red while players are there. Pve players play the content then move on to other games. Pvp players stay around a long time as long as the game works. Examples Counter Strike, Call of Duty, WoW with a huge pvp community. Fix the bullet registry asap or I’m moving on

Since we get a lot of gear and some gear we keep for one attribute or perk
that we like to roll over to another piece of gear but we don't have the resources or the money to roll it over
Everything is free for 8 to 24 hours to roll over your gear

I don't want to be a whinner so I'm just gonna try and give some kind of suggestions. So what we all know is that Division 2 has nice PvE, but DZ is kinda bad and DZ was what many people enjoyed as a core selling point of the game. Now that means that the community is split into two groups. PvE players play TD2 amd PvP mostly TD1. So what if like New York gets "ported" into D2. Have awesome rewards in the DZ. Kind of the best loot of the game as in the raids. The DZ in TD1 was better so DZ in TD2 should be used for something different as a DZ. Such as "event DZs" with some affixes and suffixes. That is one idea. Another I had is maybe just expand one DZ altogether and use the other two as they are. The expanded would be like TD1 DZ. Bigger and more "Dangerous", so it would bring back the TD1 community (some of it). Both suggestions ofc demand more loot in, and bringing back many gear sets, to grind for. Anyhow hope Year 2 fixes many stuff the game has in

I hate to feed into the negativity about this game but honestly it’s way too stressful. I LOVED The Division 1 sooo much my guy. We all have to remember that the first game had many issues and it was dreadful playing sometimes, but overtime it got better and more fun. I really hope this game breaks through and comes back just like the first game. It’s just really heartbreaking and disappointing when a franchise you love to death is just suffering so bad and you’re not enjoying your endgame experience at all. If any of you devs are reading this PLEASE take your time and make us happy with the game. I think I can speak for a majority of the community when I say that we fucking love you guys but there’s just been a horrible disconnect recently and it’s progressing worse by the day. I have high hopes for this game still and I hope you turn the game around for the better.

The way they talked about the game at launch you would have thought they a plan or mapped out where everything was going... needs more content if you lose your player base they don't come back not like you thinking its other games being released that will keep them just interested enough not to come back.

Hi All you are correct but the biggest problem is that they "nerf" the gear sets before they bring out other set or content. Giving the "gamers/players" the finger that spend massive amount of time trying to get the best gear. But that is not all they do, NOT fixing the bugs is high on the list. Now if they bring in new content they just increase the bugs or amplify it. They should get their QA department in order. Unit test will not cut it because it only test that aspect, and not all the variables that goes along with it. Really fix all the bug get a stable build without any bugs then you build from there. And stop the "nerf". Buff or change the other gear to make it more use able. Or make the beta longer before the release to ensure you fix all the gear issues and bugs. The division 3 should not go through the same issue else its not worth building it in the first place. I do get it their is a lot of moving parts in the game : player movement, sound, surroundings, AI mpc's , pvp and gear and none of them are small. but sometime to simplify something is the way to go. Just as an example ensure that pvp and pve are the same damage wise and armor then you do not need to worry about different stats for different game plays. that just One of the thing. Example when we cook something for someone and they do not like it we add more spice or ingredients. But what we should have done was go back to basic and make sure we do right. It;s good to listen to the community but make sure you do what is right for the game fist, not to compromise on the quality . Hope the bad news is just as good as the feedback. one Last thing nimble set.... the grenade that destroy you when you take someones armor off. What are they going to do about it .... Nerf it..... or change the skill or the set..... NO give us a new set or option to counter the it i.e. like explosion resistance. Or a set that disable's the grenade. An alternative set..... the fist thing that comes to mind is nerf ..... NO !!!!!!

Hi, I am a player from 4 years ago and I have a novel to improve the game division 2 to be the best game like what most people expected.
First, you must cancel the vision property of my gear such as Public Exactly like division 1 and my gear is kept secret and not public and does not appreciate the player to see me and here starts each player in the ability to creativity in my gear Please reconsider that addition Because it is not really a useful addition, it is harmful to the player and not useful to him

here, let me do your job for you. I'm going to tell you how to fix your game because you are all too incompetent to figure it out for yourselves...
    1. add the Div 1 optimisation station. allow players to fully min max their builds...
    2. add survival, resistance, underground and so on into the game. these modes gave the players repayable content that is still being played today on the previous title. its idiotic to say you don't wanna bring that stuff back when it was the life blood of the first game...
    3. add rolling events for special gear sets or brand sets that are only available during these specific events. have them on monthly rotation. like the classified events from Div 1 but the gear is only obtainable during that window and only from doing specific things during the event. you won't be able to obtain it at any other time...
    4. fix PvP. add modes people are asking for, like last stand. not modes that no one is asking for, like elimination. no one asked for that sweaty trash...
    5. allow us to roll one talent and one stat. the gear grind is insane. you literally have less than a 1% chance to get the piece you want with stats and talents you need. even with the targeted loot, its still crazy annoying. targeted loot was a step in the right direction, but still wasn't enough...
    6. balance PvP and PvE differently. these two aspects of the game MUST be separated for proper balance to happen. this is why EVERY other game separates these two aspects, because balancing one destroys the balance of the other if they aren't seperate. this will instantly remove the need for you to completely destroy a gear set in PvE because its too strong in PvP or vice versa. the changes will only apply to one or the other, not both...
Come on guys, its not that hard. I am nothing but a character designer and it took me 3 minutes to come up with these solutions. what are you guys doing at massive? because you clearly aren't listening to the community, because I, and many others, wouldn't be here saying the same things week after week if you were...

Hey guys. I've got over 36 days game time logged into this game. I love the improvements since launch. But seriously, the rng SUCKS in this game. 1st off, why am I receiving purple gear in world tier 5? 2nd, if I'm in a targeted loot area, I should be receiving 90% that particular targeted loot. 3rd, when are the gear mods for weapon damage going to start dropping maxed out weapon damage percentages? 4th, when am I going to start seeing maxed out gear rolls like weapon damage, armor and health rolls? I understand that it's a looter shooter but enough is enough.

Add a flamethrower signature weapon with phosphorus grenades that blind and burn you...even perhaps bring back some of the old enemies..or even real Military branches into the world.

  • Daniel Robinson
    Daniel Robinson 23 days ago

Should of made an exotic FAMAS instead of the chatterbox...P90 that gives you more ammo and faster fire rate...but that would be hard to do since it's shoots so fast. Maybe just add more dark zones...even maybe underground darkzone...or more raid should be Hyenas.

Dont nerf ND. Its easy to counter them. Instead of giving a fuse timer and UI, introduce high explosive resistance attributes on gears and talents for the same. Every build can be countered. Just increase the 3s cooldown of ND to 30 or 60s. Also please nerf the shotguns. It hits way too hard than a sniper. People having a tanky build with not attributes for a shotgun just come next to you with the sidearm and tap you. It gets really annoying to play in shotgun servers. This completely made me go from 6 hrs a day in division 2 to just 1 hr in it. NERF THE SHOTGUNS !!!
