    Misinformation in parody.
You are not vaccinated against TB if you've had a shot in the skin of your forearm!!!
    1. Bee is from Canada where the BCG tuberculosis vaccine is used.
    2. In the US we use a PPD skin test in the forearm that only shows if youve been exposed so you can then be treated. If you've had the BCG vaccine this test will be positive for exposure too so a serum blood test is needed or chest xray.
Don't start running to your drs in the US and asking for a tuberculosis vaccine. It is studied to be weak so we opted to test and treat cases early.
Need medical consultants on the show.

Extremists on both sides of the vaccine debate are preventing an honest conversation from happening. Or any conversation really it's pretty much all arguments. The only issue with vaccines you ever hear is about it's link to autism, which is a pretty weak link from what I have researched. My issue is more with the u.s vaccine schedule for babies. Too many at once and too close together.

    • spport spport
      spport spport 6 months ago

@Lena Christl Awesome. And it increases the likelihood that a child will be vaccinated by eliminating mutiple expensive and time consuming healthcare visits. There isn't any validated peer reviewed research that demonstrates negative outcomes by multiple vaccines.

    • ScootieXP
      ScootieXP 6 months ago

@Lena Christl That makes zero sense. Americans are immunizing babies for diseases that under normal circumstances would only get in touch when they reach 5-14 years old. Since babies dont have any immune system yet developed the vaccine hardly helps alot. You're just injecting toxins aka heavy metals into the body. Ever wondered why autism rates are the highest in the country with the highest numbers of given vaccines? Compare that to EE where I live, my countrys health departement doesnt even know the autism rate here cause it's so low(not something im cheering for tough) and our vaccine shedule is 4-5 smaller then american one. If we can cope with so few vaccines, why can't the USA?

Normally there are 2 sides to an issue, but yeah Vaccinations are not one of those issues. Either get vaccinated, or die a slow and horrible death.

      Darmy Cortes 6 months ago

Alienatey you know what else causes permanent brain damage? Measles. Polio, paralysis. Tetanus, stiffness of muscles. HPV, cancer. Smallpox, death or scarring.
All of those are guaranteed if you don’t vaccinate.
And here: an update on aluminum in vaccines (www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0264410X11015799?via%3Dihub) Your doubt towards the study should go towards disapproving it by replicating the study and comparing the results. Maybe this way you might convince people of the danger of adjuvants in vaccines.

    • Alienatey
      Alienatey 6 months ago

@Darmy Cortes you are sounding like a paid troll. Anyone with any scientific background would know that ingesting something is completely different than injecting something. I can eat aluminum all day long. I inject a miniscule amount into my brain, and you know it settles in the brain, and I am damaged for life.

    • ScootieXP
      ScootieXP 6 months ago +1

@Darmy Cortes Well, read what the FDA says it's safe amount of those heavy metals for an adult and see how much more a baby gets out of that toxin.

    • ScootieXP
      ScootieXP 6 months ago +1

@Darmy Cortes My God, read the inserts. Vaccines are full of toxins.

    • Darmy Cortes
      Darmy Cortes 6 months ago

Alienatey The primary criticism of Polysorbate 20 comes from its manufacture. It is made with reaction of sorbitol with ethylene oxide. This process of ethoxylation can result in the creation of trace amounts of a by-product, 1,4-dioxane. The key words here are “trace amounts”, which translates into an extremely small potential presence. Dioxane was identified as a carcinogen after a 2-year study of rats and mice that were constantly fed the substance developed liver and mouth cancers. There is no doubt that in significant amounts dioxane is dangerous. The amounts occurring during cosmetic manufacture, however, are nowhere near these significant amounts. Moreover, chemical manufacturers are aware of a vacuum stripping process by which the trace amounts of dioxane can be removed from the ingredient or end-product, further minimizing any amount of dioxane being present in the products we use.

Awesome of him to not only do it but to gain enough knowledge to speak about it. What was wrong with the skit though is it misinformed people that an intradermal TB test called PPD in the forearm is a vaccination against TB. This error is going to cause a lot of problems. Say someone believes Full Fronterdale then has a family member who contracts TB. Are they not going to take their antibiotics because they think they are vaccinated? A very small percentage of people in the USA are vaccinated against TB but for a reason. Its not a standard vaccination in the US. Like MMR, Tdap, HPV, etc
