Correction: The Earthquake that caused the nuclear disaster in Japan was of magnitude 9.0 on the Richter scale. We used a 'Fukushima' earthquake value by mistake.

2020 Tokyo olympics should be boycotted. Japanese government is using the Olympics to demonstrate to the world that Japan is now a safe country and that the Fukushima disaster has been solved. There will be a great long/short term risk to all the athletes and tourists who will visit there

What about all the nuclear weapons test sites?
US: Eniwetok, Bikini and Johnston* Islands, plus various places in New Mexico
    UK: Montebello and Maralinga, Australia
France: Mururoa and Fangataufa Islands, French Polynesia. Hammoudia and In Eker, Algeria. Possibly Kerguelen Islands, Indian Ocean - although that may have been a joint Israeli - South African test (Lots of conspiracy theories on this one.)
USSR: Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan and 3 sites on Novaya Zemlya
    PRC: Lop Nur
Plus various sites where India, Pakistan, DPRK, Israel and possibly South Africa have tested weapons.
*Johnston was also used as a storage and destruction facility for chemical weapons, so it's doubly contaminated.

You don’t even have to watch the video to know the answer

    It is Chernobyl (elephant trench)

  • NowPlay
    NowPlay Month ago

If we wanted to be completely accurate, Fukushima is technically off, contamination is present but turned off or inside the reactors and purification and cleaning have been carried out for this reason it can also be visited, instead the area around Chernobyl can also be visited but only because around the plant they had to place 2 huge barriers, and even with those it is still dangerous. So on balance and Chernobyl the most dangerous place since even with 2 coatings it is still lethal, not to mention that the "elephant foot" is scientifically still burning and emitting an illegal amount of radiation.

I wish I could tell TVclip to block this channel. Everything is ultra dumbed down and there are so many inaccuracies, outright factual errors and even contradictions within the videos. "Experts believe that Karachay may be the most radioactive place in the world" you put it at number 7 in the list...also there is no place called "Karachay" anyway, its just the name of the lake.

  • UranicString748
    UranicString748 2 months ago

This is wrong, Chernobyl is the most radioactive place on earth because there is burned nuclear fuel that created the elephants foot and if you touch that before you can take your hand away your already dead.
