Those older model pickups had zero crash protection. What a shame for the family and friends.

It's a miracle if anybody survives this horrific accident. The whole front of underneath the truck including the front tires is actually behind the truck. Just crazy.

I couldn't really hear the interview of the accident becuz of the noise. I heard the names of Terry Johnson which I believe was driving. He was 18, and then his little brother that was 16. But which one died?

@John LaFever Wow thank u for that update. I know u didn't have to share that so I appreciate it very much. It's amazing that both didn't pass away. That truck u can hardly even make out. Gosh only 18...just a very young man to have his life cut so short is incredibly sad. Young people seen to think that they are invisible. God be with the young brother, something he will never forget no doubt. I feel deeply for the family. Hope they are doing better somehow. That is quite a while ago. I kind of knew that from the video.

@Music4TheSoul Yes, the engine is till attached to the front end of the chassis/frame which was behind the rest of the truck. The dashboard has probably been destroyed by the impact with the tree which has pushed the bulkhead/fire wall a long way into the passenger compartment. Some of the instruments had been ejected from the vehicle...

@tiredlawdog Usually when there is no detailed description the staff is so busy covering events they don't have the time to post one. but they'll try to get an interview of what happened while on site. HTH

If you watched the video to the end a description of events leading to the accident were provided through LEO interview on scene.
