Richard Sadlier is nowhere near prominent or accomplished enough as a footballer or as anything else for that matter to have justification to be releasing a bio. Who cares really?

Were he not Irish we'd never have heard of him. The ONLY reason we know who he is is he skirted around the Irish team about 20 years ago for period, after which he did punditry on Irish TV and he wasn't any god at that either. There have been hundreds, nay thousands of non entity footballers down the decades that have plied their trade at his level, Championship mostly, and they'll never get to tell their story because they were English, and the dragnet for international call up missed them by a country mile. Fortunate to have worn the green jersey for a bit, a long time ago.

@Aaron Mc Grath Life is not just about football on the pitch, in fact most decent good bios are the ones where the person has an interesting life off the pitch.

Who cares? I guess the people who bought the book. This is such a bizarre comment Dermot, why do you feel the need to be so upset over someone releasing a book? You'll probably never read it anyway so why do care so much?
