    Line your pan with double parchment and bake in a water bath. I don't know why these you tube cooking videos don't include the tips one needs to make the dish successful. Also, always use less egg than they say in the video or it becomes a runny mess.

      Faris Aqil That's the point. He's adding the lemon zest, because that's where you can get concentrated lemon flavor. But don't grate too much or you'll end up grating the white part, which is bitter.

      Just turn on the bake element, and only turn on the broiler to make sure the top part is set.

    Question mr. Ramsay, please, my favorite cake it’s newyork cheesecake and I would like to make one for my birthday that does have a cookie base but when it comes to the mix itself I would prefer something smooth but not too plain or overwhelming like too much chocolate, which do you think would be the best recipe or type of flavor?

    Ok ok, I know NY cheesecake doesn't have a biscuit base. But I love the contrast between the crunchy base and the luscious top, so I use one. Takes this yummo recipe to another level.
