Lotsoffish, I think the tune is slightly reminiscent of Take Me Home Country Roads, but isn't the song.

@Music Entertainer I hope you get back on your feet soon. A lot of folks are hurting and I think times are gonna get worse. You are smart in that you are trying to learn and not be caught off guard and not prepared. Knowledge will take you a long way. I am praying for you and your family. ~Sherrie in South Carolina

I loved this episode! Actually I just subscribed, since I find myself going back to your channel and relax and watch your videos. Fun fact: Iøm from Greenland, and the "Ajungilak" in the Ajungilak sleeping bag is Greenlandic, and means: "It's okay" or "It's all good" og directly translated, "It's not bad". Such a bargain you got, lol!

Appreciate your honesty on the gear issue saying that you dont make anything on sales ...but in the description it would rock to have a list of what you are reviewing. Dont need a link just name and model if you could.. thanks brother for the hard work love the show

The little blue/gray bird is a Nuthatch. They stay upside down on the tree trunk. We would watch them all the time when we would visit my husband's parents. So cute. They make a beeping sound.

just because it is interesting to me, the brown mountain lights are actually caused by a mixture of gases called swamp gases spontaneously igniting. more correctly it is phosphine catalyzing the decomposition of methane to form co2 and h2o. It is the same reason many see lights over swamps. The lights are real and are happening it is just a matter of luck to see them.

I appreciate how much work you go to for setting up so many of your walking shots. Ever consider using a mini drone with a good camera and follow modes?

I seen a helicopter trimming up a power lines through the wood once. I pulled off in someone's driveway and watched. It was awesome. When I came back through the same road they landed for the evening and I couldn't believe how big that blade was.

Ya ever make it to Alaska, Luke? You've got a Sourdoughs spirit my man, I think you'd take to the last frontier quite nicely. Hell man, theres UNLIMITED amounts of places for you to adventure up yonder. Although I'd sure like to roam around Lone Wolf Mountain too...maybe someday I'll have my own mountain up here...keep your guard up, and your chin tucked bud!

Concerning ticks: you can put permethrin on your pack, impregnate your shoes, pants, jacket, sleeping back, tent ... literally everything and you'll be tick free probably. It is also non-toxic once it is dried so no worries either about toxicity.

What do you do with your footwear during a super cold over-nighter? Do they go in your sleeping bag with you?
