I never expected making toast to be so relaxing! Hmm, am I the only person who doesn't like the combination of jam and butter on toast? Maybe it's because it's salted - I think salted butter goes better with Marmite (butter and jam go well on scones of course), and butter is great on its own! 🤔😊

What an exquisite demonstration of how to "mindfully" prepare ones morning toast. In a sense it's a way of efficiently combining the creation of a delicious morning snack with ones morning meditation.

One of the joys of ASMR is all the little things you never notice otherwise.
For instance, I had never paid attention to the sounds of a toaster. Or the sound of toast.
I'm surprised how soothing this is. Also, now I know why toast racks exist!
    Real butter for the win!

Okay, the butter not melting I could let slide, but 'dip it in your tea'?! NO! Biscuits get dipped in tea, toast gets eaten with tea but never, never dunked. You'd just end up with jammy tea and soggy toast. Yuck! That said, I like this video anyway because Emma is wonderful and toast sounds are tingle-tastic.

As an American, I butter my toast as soon as it comes hot out of the toaster(a bit darker than this), so the butter melts into it! I wonder if the reason we like melted buttery toast in America and not cold spread buttee is the influence of cultures like Italian and Greek where they put olive oil on bread?

This is why the British are so terrifying... they wait for their toast to cool before buttering it. I can't even express how viscerally horrifying that is. D: Toast is made to be eaten hot, cold toast is an abomination!
Good sounds though! Might have to butter some cold toast just for the tingles, and then immediately toss it out for the trash-pandas.
