    Great Video Jamie! Slight correction for the temperature... The 170 C temperature you mentioned is actually 338 F... So only 13 Degrees over not that much!

    I was so excited to try this method this year, then I accidentally bought a spiral ham instead (I didn't look closely enough at the tag... 😢). Do you think this method would still work with a spiral ham?? If not, what tweaks could I make?

    So do you sit it in water for an hour and THEN poach it for another hour, or just poach it roast it?

      Sit it in plain water for an hour, throw the water away and then poach in fresh water for one and a half hours. Then roast.
