Just made this tonight. Huge hit with my guests and I’ve been begged to make it this way again next year (Some also shamelessly said they were going to come again next year, invited or not). No one could believe me when I said I did not brine the turkey nor did I marinate in advance. It was not only juicy as heck, it was so darn tasty!!! Thank you Natasha! You’re making a gourmet cook out of me!

Great recipe! When do you remove the foil triage? I noticed that you put it on, but when you remove the turkey, it is gone...

Put apples in the crop next time. The Apples keep all the meat very moist.

    What about the stuffing???

    • Natashas Kitchen
      Natashas Kitchen  2 months ago

Hi Annie, I don’t cook stuffing inside the turkey because it isn’t traditional in our family and the juices from the turkey drip into the stuffing while baking so the stuffing needs to get to 145˚F for it to be safe for consumption and by that time, the turkey breast becomes much too dry. I’ve seen some methods pre-cooking the stuffing partially and others make the stuffing and bake it in a separate dish and serve it on the side

Hey Natasha! I know this is a few years old already but I wanna say, I love your videos! I’ve already made 3 recipes of yours already and they turned out amazing! You are such an inspiration and as such, there’s many more recipes of yours I can’t wait to try!
That said, I’m making the Thanksgiving Turkey this year and I want to use this recipe! The only problem is that the Turkey is a 20 lbs Turkey and I know the timing is suitable for that of 11-15 lbs. Do you or anyone in the comments section for that matter know the timing I should do to cook this recipe for a 20 lbs turkey? Hope to get the info soon. Thank you so much in advance!

    Wow! You have wonderful taste!
My mom also make the best Turkey. Every one is always amazed. She soak it in the salted water for few to several hours ,then it the mayonnaise she puts lots of lots of minced on the blender garlic and salt, pepper, all spices and " massage" it into the Turkey. Puts plastic bag or foil allover it ( to reduce smell in the refrigerator) and refrigerated it overnight. On the Thanksgiving day she puts 2 new brown grocery bags from the store and staple them together on the Turkey in the cooking pan or used regular bags for baking. Bakes until it's cooked. The Turkey is soooooo juicy, and salty inside the deepest parts of the meat. And the incredible aroma you can smell even from outside the house . You can try this recipe too if you like))

Looks great! I'm trying this recipe this Thanksgiving. Only thing I like the breast skin browner. If I browned it under the broiler a bit at the end that might make the breast less moist. What do you think? I would rather have moister breast than browner if I can't have both lol.
