Unlike other commenters, I actually don't mind this new format. Will and Lew talking about the latest tech news is like listening to tech articles, rather than reading them. You all have to think of this as more of a podcast-style. Boys, as long as you keep mixing things up with unboxing videos, I think you'll be ok.

Samsung has already got their J series phones in India which sell really well in the Indian offline market - these are the ones that bring sales to Samsung in India. But, they are the crappiest of phones that money can ever buy. they sell phones with 2 or 3 year old chipsets in the same $150 price bracket and missing out on basic sensors even. the Indian offline market is not that educated and that is why the brands like Xiaomi succeeded in India through the educated online market. hope the M series will change the image of samsung here in India..!!

For the first time Unbox has lost its edge.... Samsung can throw the kitchen sink at the mid to low end budget phone in India and will still fail to recapture the market. Chinese and Korean brands have gained trust in the masses, with low cost, high performance gadget that cannot be undercut by Samsung... Slump sales is what the future holds.

and TGuruji is behind this all mid range segment boom, because earlier Indians were not even knew what is processor, guruji criticize those typical samsung phones with old underpowered phones with very high price tag 🏷, Thanks @technicalguruji

What is really killing the smartphone business is the way companies think you can and will change a tool that can easily last 3 years or more each year just because of a "new" feature when the fact is that most thing you do with your phone are the same that you did with it since the original iPhone and you may also have a contract for it that can be anywhere from a year up to two years.

Loving these talks... India could be a testing ground, but they want to gain ground in markets where there is room for elevation. I think that in most European and North American markets people are considering a midrange phone to have 4Gb RAM and a year old flagship snapdragon or exynos or equivalent. In my opinion a budget phone around $300 or less with a new 6 or 7 series snapdragon chipset or exynos equivalent that gives functionality in the range of galaxy S6-S7 phones is the sweet spot, especially in enormous markets where people may not be able to purchase a flagship smartphone. Midrange Galaxy phones with pimped features from last years flagship lineup in the $400-600 range as well as last years flagship chipset are where there is money to be made and where Samsung has a good chance to compete for western markets. With the things people are using their smartphones for every day now such as online banking, shopping, web browsing, and social networking we need secure solutions and devices that give practically seamless experiences with the world around us. Use a 3 Gb RAM phone like the galaxy S6 and compare experiences with an S9+ 6Gb RAM while multi tasking. In most cases I find a phone with less than 3Gb barely usable for how I use my smartphone and 3Gb RAM is laggy depending on the manufacturer bloatware but barely tugs the boat for me. 4Gb RAM is just snappy enough to function cleanly on a Samsung phone, the way I use one. But I'm still using my old Note 8🤣
