Hi there great review on current products you are using. In one of your videos, you mention a deodorant called naturally fresh. Are you still with that brand or did you find something better. And if you did we would love to hear from you. Keep on the great work you do in bringing us input on different products. Appreciatea response thank you God Bless.

Thanks for the recommendations. I’ll tell you what’s rocking my world: Hydroxatone Antiaging BB Cream from Costco. Two for $19.00. It is wonderful coverage with SPF 40. It makes my skin come to life. I’m hooked. I have oily skin and this stuff stays put. I also have sensitive skin and this does not cause breakouts like other products with SPF.

Mahalo, Dominique! This has been a ton of fun!!! I just got a new nail polish which has a subtle gold glitter. After 2 base coats of Seche clear, I gently applied a tiny bit of a 1/2 strip layer of small size microglitter by L.A. Craze "Cocktail" color, followed by two coats of the Seche Vite top coat. So basically my nails are clear, shiny, with a hint of golden glitter along the edges. I'm also exploring the Target Elf line of Eyebrow products. Hope that goes well, but it's a continuous journey of discovery! Thank you for all of your tips and tricks and product reviews!!! I'm taking notes!

Just started watching you on TVclip and love your videos. I wondered if you've heard of or used the brand Crunchi. I've been using the primer and foundation and love them. I'm 71 and have a problem with sagging eye lids, but unfortunately they don't sag enough to hinder my vision, therefore, my insurance won't pay for a lift. Any suggestions?

What is a good product to get rid of brown spots?

  • Brenda Barraza Bilstad

Dominique, you inspire and motivate me. I have been watching your vides for a few days now. Not really sure how I discovered them, but I'm glad I did. In three days, I've changed my entire skincare routine from harsh, clinical creams that were drying out my skin to organic, plumping, and good-for-me products. My teen told me this morning that my skin looked radiant! It made me happy. Thank you for sharing with all of us what really works for you, plus giving us behind-the-scenes insights and tips (e.g. I never knew that my false lashes should not go to the end of my outer eyelids -- made my eyes look droopy and fat!) . I used to believe gorgeous people on TV only used high-end products (caviar and 24K gold moisturizers!) that real women & moms could never afford, but you're pulling the curtain back on all of that.
THANK YOU! We are all doing our best and yes, we deserve to learn from bold, blessed women such as you.
I would recommend one hair product. Ken Murphy Smoothing Lotion. I'm a brunette and I have naturally wavy hair like yours. I discovered the smoothing lotion in the fall. LA County has had one of its most rainy seasons this year due to El Nino. But thanks to this product, I am ready to take on the weather. I dab this lotion on my wet hair and then I'll let it dry naturally. It gives most soft, manageable curls. I then use very fat barrel hot curlers and set my hair. When I take the curlers off, my hair is full, bouncy, but not curly, just lots of vavoom body! If I choose to blow dry my hair the lotion helps make it soft, clean, and not frizzy. Ken Murphy has an entire "Smooth" line, but I find that using the shampoo and conditioner is just too much for me. Just try the smoothing lotion. And yes, you can dab it on your bangs and it won't weigh them down! :-)
Finally, what treatments do you get at your dermatologist's office? I'm considering IPL treatments, but not sure if I should just yet. I'm 46 and just beginning to see hyperpigmentation spots grow.
Thank you for your time, your beauty insights, your honesty, and your fun-to-watch videos. I NEVER get bored.

Loved your video! Here are some wonderful products that I love to use. SKINN Cosmetics neck mask, neck serum and neck cream, they are just amazing to keep one's neck looking great. I also came across a wonderful light foundation that is amazing too. It is M. Asam's Magic Finish (better than IT's CC in my opinion). It is like a mousse and you just need a little and it covers well and blends/adjusts to all skin tones. I also fell in love with Doucce's lipstick. Gorgeous colours, great pigment and wears for a long time. Finally my favourite shampoo and hair care products are made by Living Proof and Virtue. Last by not least, my favourite 2018 product is made by Lavido; their body care/skin care products are amazing! Have an awesome 2019 Dominique and thank you for sharing. I look forward to watching your video every week. Any chance you could do a 2019 video on handbags and shoes?

I don't mean to be a "debbie downer" (because I LOVE Dominique), however I encourage everyone to read the ingredient lists of these products. Look up the individual ingredients online (ingredient dictionary) and you will find that many of them are very sensitizing and irritating to the skin or are just plain fluff. Dominique is beautiful and I when I watch her videos I want to buy everything she recommends, however I do my homework and look at a products ingredients. Be smart :)

Viewed a number of your makeup videos and tried many of the products you demonstrated. Love the Nyx products I never used before. I'm playing with makeup looks for my sons upcoming wedding in June. I am 58, heavy, have baggy eyes and drier skin now. My fav are the Nyx lingerie lips & eye shadow pallets, creamy eye and lip pencils. The contour/ highlighting kit is great. Wish I knew how to contour years ago. I prefer the Mac foundation & concealer and some shadows, Too Faced eye and face primers. I'm moisturizing daily with CeraVe and using an under the eye depuffer which is helping with the bags. I highly recommend Covergirl clump crusher mascara. Don't need to use false lashes or lash curler with this on my skimpy lashes. Didn't want to splurge on the Laura Mercier translucent powder and using Boots No7 translucent loose powder instead. Love it. I'm waiting for delivery of the Nyx oil lip in red queen and a light bronzer to try. I recommend for greying brows the Tarte double duty busy gal tinted eyebrow gel. I look forward to more of your videos. Thanks.

Just a suggestion. For crows feet & bags use creams/gels especially made for the "eye" area. Another words, "do not" use a facial moisturizer as an eye cream which many women do. This will actually cause undereye bags. Btw, Boots No7 translucent powder is a great alternative, instead of the LM translucent powder!! Hope you have a great time @ your son's wedding!

Choosing a moisturizer will depend on your skin type. Always moisturize first & then prime. I was a makeup artist & rarely wore primer. I only did on special occasions. IMO, it's basically one's choice whether or not to wear primer. Keep in mind, there are primers for different skin types.

Hi Dominique. Hope you're well, and your family, too. Thank you for another great video. I watch and rewatch your makeup tutorials and would love it if you would do some new ones. Have you seen the new Kat Von D Lolita palette? It's gorgeous! I'll bet you'd enjoy it a lot. I am loving the Too Faced lipgloss like the one you have, in the shade "Home Slice." Every single day I use the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue as a foundation or under foundation and I really appreciate the Smashbox Under eye primer - it's a terrific moisturizer before applying concealer. Tarte didn't discontinue the Maracuja Creaseless Concealer, they just repackaged it! The IT one is great and I use it often, but I still love the creaseless Tarte one. It's just not in the tube anymore. It's with a doe foot applicator like the Shape Tape. Would you be willing to film an updated makeup organization video - - how you store your makeup and maybe a video about how and what makeup you take with you when you travel? I'd appreciate that a lot. Thank you for being so willing to share. Finally, I want to thank you for featuring cruelty free products and mentioning that they are so. Blessings, grace and peace -

You are beautiful, both inside and out, and I love watching your videos about life, health, etc. But, in your Make-Up line, as well as Bath & Body, Fashion, Skin Care, Health & Wellness, etc. I'm Sad to see no AVON products. I have tried literally hundreds of brands, and have NEVER found another Make-Up, Skin Care, etc. brand, as afforable for such great quality as AVON's.. So yes, thus became a Rep. 28 years ago and National Recruiter, best decision I ever made. I would love to hear if you decide to try some Avon products and how they work for you. Please message me with results and/or check out our products at www.youravon.com/dvanhorn. I would love to Compare and Discuss with you about products, results, sales, special on our products, etc. Thank you

These were some great products! Thank you for sharing them! Let me tell you about something I’ve discovered in 2018 that I’m so excited about if I may? It’s cream foundation makeup called Maskcara!! A woman named Cara came up with it and I love how it feels so light on your face. It also goes into your fine lines and wrinkles (not that you have any) and makes them not as noticeable! Great for maturing skin! I love how it comes in a beautiful magnetic compact that you pick out! Check it out! Would love to see you review on it!! I’ll try to send you something about it, but I’m not that computer savvy!

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ is now available in a matte finish. It is absolutely fabulous. It stays matte all day and you can wear it without primer if you're short on time.

You mentioned about the oil product by supernatural and I could fine it.

Hi from Montreal Qc !! Thanks for all the products ! Have you ever tried the Skinceuticals physical fusion UV defense ? That is the product I use in summer and for skiing. I would love to hear your take on a comparison v/s Colorscience because I see it is a bit less expensive...Also vitamin C from Skinceuticals Ferulic ?
