Leftist shit.heads, like this interviewer, simply can not leave their politics out of art. It's incredible. THE FILM QUESTIONS FAKE AUTHORITIES WITH FAKE MORALS, THINGS LEFTISTS REALLY STRIVE FOR IN THIS WORLD, UNFORTUNATELY!

DP/30: The Oral History Of Hollywood I know the leftist point of view, its arguments, its goals BECAUSE I WAS BORN IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. What I had to learn was that THE FREE MARKET, FREE THINKING SOCIETY, WITH INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS HAS TO BE ACTIVELY DEFENDED. And I am sick and tired of art journos, most of whom are actually soldiers for inescrupulous leftism in the western societies, using free art in the name of destruction of all values and morals different from theirs.

You can't learn anything if all you do is rage at others, making assumptions, and spewing hate.

also he lets the story develop freely, it's a beautiful, organic process that I actually work on myself.

I love how he doesn't go through several rewrites or drafts. He goes with his gut instinct.

He wrote this script in 5 weeks while travelling throughout.. a script with such intricate character and plot development and complex themes.. I feel only a genius could accomplish something like that, incredible film and great interview too.

I've been reading and checking out DP's views for close to 20 yrs, probably more, and I've always enjoyed his interview style. I like the laid back approach he brings to these things and there's almost an instant ease with the subjects but not in a chummy, fake way.

He's an overrated move director considering he's made like three films but all of them are suberb.

Finally got a chance to see this recently. One of my favorites of the year. Sharp dialogue, great performances, and has surprising amount of sadness for a black comedy. Fantastic!

It’s wonderful to see people just talk stripped away from the Hollywood glamour and mystique. If you can ever get hold of Malick for an interview that would a real treat.
