  • Published on Feb 22, 2018
  • The Oscar-nominated 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' star Sam Rockwell had to dig deep to find a way to relate to his deeply flawed character.

I wont give away the end of the movie: Proceeds to give away the end of the movie. Stares at his little blue card for 5 seconds reading the next question he's going to ask and then stammers for 5 seconds trying to ask it. Constantly stepping on Rockwell's toes. Colbert sucks ass. Came here on a Rockwell interview binge: got exposed to what a suck ass late night host Colbert is.

He is right about anti-heroes in the movie. I loved it overall, but i didnt know at times if McDormand was meant to be the protagonist or not.

If Sam's character was not white but still bigoted none of these conversations would be happening. This is part of cultural Marxist propaganda. They even have to attack fictional white characters, in this case to perpetuate the myth of widespread white racism. Non whites are far more racist as a whole.

Couldn’t go wrong with Woody or Sam for the Oscar in Three Billboards... they both gave outstanding performances. They are both the kind of guys that if the script and director are at that high level, they are going to deliver.

PC culture trying to shit on good art. Whining because a nasty, hateful character sees the error of his ways and starts to change for the better? Because that totally never happens in real life? Fucking idiots. Also, Colbert has turned into such a pandering lame-ass. Used to love him on The Daly Show and his old show. Seems he's lost his mind along with everyone else in this country in the last few years.

he did this 'laugh'...somewhere at the beginning of this sit down....and it Immediately sounded like, and reminded me....of the Green Mile moment in the cage, when he ( 'wild bill) spits all that 'moon pie' all over David Morse' face! ha ha!>....would have been hilarious to make an "Edit' here, with the amazing Rockwell....cutting in all his funniest scenes, gag's, and lines...playing off Steven...and ending up with Colbert's face...all covered in moon pie slime! Lol!..... Can anyone else visualize this?.... come on!...that would be awesome!

I thought the movie was a demonstration of how peoples personas are very much a consequence of the world and history, the power of people to realize and then change themselves, and the sympathy we can find for these people because of this.
Sam Rockwell's character is hateful but he's also in pain and ignorant of who he is and why he is up until middle of the 2nd half.

The character's racism isn't even as spotlighted as Stephen Colbert makes it out to be. It makes it sound as if racism is one of the movie's themes, which it clearly isn't if you've actually seen the film. But of course in these politically correct times, you have to make racism the biggest fucking thing even though the story is about a girl who was raped and fucking murdered. Oh forget about that part, just highlight how "dangerous" racism is.

Sam Rockwell is a delight. Not only is he a dedicated professional, he's a swell, well-spoken, thoughtful man. He consistently appears in great roles in some of my favorite movies, and I've never heard a bad word from any of his coworkers. He's a great dude.

Kiss your rights goodbye one by one with movies like this one. Every man in town has to give a sample just because some pro didn't get paid as much as she thought she deserved to be paid? What? How's that again? I watched fifteen minutes of this absolute manure flick before sending it back.
