Hello! I was wondering if you have used the Charlotte Tilbury Skin Perfecting Powder and if so, how do you think the Viseart powder compares? I saw your review on the Sephora website and I also saw you on Stephanie Nicole's channel. Thank you for posting a review so quickly on these products. Haven't seen much on these yet.

We've driven to Oregon taking that coastal route. It is beautiful! Nice that you can still get your shopping fixes when you visit.

YayOrNayNicole I lived in Sac for 15 years and loved it. Now I'm about an hour south of the Oregon border. Talk about small town living. I still go to Sac for hair cuts and visiting with friends. That's when I hit up Ulta, Sephora, and Nordstrom! Hahaha. I have to get my fix!

So we have an NYX store in the same area of the Walnut Creek Broadway Plaza mall. I can check both in one trip! I’ll try to get over there this weekend. I have a bunch of family that lives in Sacramento, El Dorado Hills and Folsom. Such a nice area! 😃

YayOrNayNicole Please let me know what you think about both! I tried to swatch it at Nordy's, but they didn't carry it at the Sacramento one. I'm wondering if you might think the Nyx yellow powder is too chalky. If you can swatch it first, I would that.

I love the Hourglass dim light powder. It lasts a really long time too. A little goes a long way but if you want. I will swatch the CT one next time I am at Nordstrom. If the NYX is working, no need to pay more. Now I want to try that one. :)

What did you think of the Viseart eye primer in the end in terms of eyeshadow longevity?

    • YayOrNayNicole
      YayOrNayNicole  Year ago

Hi Sandy, So I tried it for about a week with one eye Viseart and the other eye UD Primer Potion. Both lasted very well but the Viseart kept the deeper crease colors longer. At the end of the night, I could tell when I'd compare one eye to the other.

@YayOrNayNicole how did the Viseart powder wear under your eyes through out the day? Did you end up liking it, how were the results? Please if you could give me a little info I would greatly appreciate it 😊 I am interested in purchasing but for the price I don’t want to just jump right in, and I am almost 40 and I do have dark circles, wrinkles around my eyes and dry in that area as well so it’s def hard for me to find something that doesn’t look cakey or dry. I don’t want to emphasize around my eyes I would just like to cover it all up and make it look a lil better! lol 😆I recently found your channel and really have enjoyed watching 😍 thank you so much!! 💕

Hi Deanna, It wore incredibly well. You use very little (which is good since it is so pricey) almost to the point that you may feel that you don't have enough on but it works. My lines are pretty fine but I do have dry skin. Nothing showed at all. Somehow it mattified and gave a great finish but you just don't see the powder. I've used it with and without setting spray. It can feel a bit dry at the end of the day (less dry in my opinion with setting spray) but amazingly, I'm usually always touching up my powder 5 times a day, with this I don't need to. I have been using it with the full treatment of color corrector, foundation, and concealer. It is colorless so on me it does not show up. Maybe order from Sephora so you can easily return it if it does not work for you. I have an undereye brightening video that you might like. tvclip.biz/video/0i1zVyE0ZqM/video.html. Maybe if you use a smooth color corrector like the Lancome one that is really thin and then foundation and one of the undereye brighteners it would do the trick? Do you live near a Sephora or department store where you can get samples? They can even pump the Touche Eclat out into a little container for you. I'm so glad that you've been enjoying my channel! I hope you had a great weekend! :) Nicole

@yayornaynicole do you think that a wing liner is too much for older people? I am 45 and I feel strange when I try a winged liner.

@Chamshrew Well stated! Love the idea of using brown. Sometimes I opt for navy blue too. :)

I don't think so at all! I have a hooded eye so I've had to learn what works for my eye shape but heck, I'm 50 and I do it. :) If you don't like the look don't do it but if YOU like it go for it! I just did some crazy nail polish and I love it. The hubby is not really into it but I really like it so I wear it for me. Sophia Loren wore winged liner forever. xoxoxo Nicole

Heather Warren as someone who is young I say age shouldn’t define what you are capable of doing. Do what makes you feel beautiful and comfortable!! If you want to rock the wing then rock it, if it’s too much try a subtle brown ? 💕

Another thing is that my foundation rubs off my nose always any reccomendations for that?

    • YayOrNayNicole
      YayOrNayNicole  Year ago

Hi Ivette, Do you use a primer? I know that a lot of people with larger pores use Porefessional by Benefit and press that into their larger pore areas and then use their other products. Stephanie Nicole (awesome channel) has talked about piercing scars that she covers up. I'll bet you'll get great info for the piercing hole there. Anyway, after primer I'd use a concealer, then put foundation on top and then maybe a bit more concealer (in the same color as your foundation) then set with a translucent powder. I'd use a blending sponge for the final concealer finish to really press it in. I like the Tarte Shape Tape concealer a lot. It really stays put and does not cake. Then you have to try not to touch your nose. I always touch my chin and wear off my foundation. I will check out Nikkia's channel. Thanks for the recommendation. Hope you had a great weekend! xoxoxo

which concealer u use cuz i tried many and it still rubs off and that looks so ugly i hate it. I saw a video of Nikkia Joy she made only about tricks about this and she said use Mac Paintpot but i have huge pores on my nose as well and also i used to have an earring on my nose when i was younger and it settles in the hole as well so i was just checking if u have any other advice. Check out nikkia joys video tho shes amazing and so sweet and humble. She even has a lash line which i bought some from and they are amazingly comfy being that i have small sensitive hooded eyes.

Ivette Arroyo the same thing happens to me. I use a tiny amount of concealer and it works and doesn’t come off. I hope you give it a try!

Wow your makeup looks amazing mine always cakes under my eyes maybe cuz u use very little powder i use alot more than that to set my concealer. Ima try it your way and ill let u know if it works. Thanks for your videos. And btw im ordering the viseart powder.

Hi Ivette, The older I get the less powder I use as it accentuates everything. This one is super light and really does not show up so I'm loving it. I hope it works for you! :) Nicole

I adore you and never miss a video and I’m saying this in the kindest way but your foundation is one shade too dark ,you can’t tell on your cheek because of concealer but around your mouth it’s noticeable.....I say this with so much love

Hi Cheryl, I use less and less every year too due to fine lines. I also cannot use some that I used to use because they start to settle in. Thanks for the kind words. You are such a sweetie! :) Nicole
