Spotted cow, yeah boiii
When it comes to horror, i dont really care about character stuff, only if its interesting, i just want to be entertained. and IT 2, in my opinion, was massively entertaining. Just a spook house, thats all i want
I enjoyed the movie. There. I said IT.
How can a 1200 page long book have a 2 letter title
There’s no number on the episode *pennywise noises*
IT= Internasal Trauma
What the fuck was that wolf-man scene? Was expecting to see Jack Black running with them
Did not like the film
I know this was mentioned in the episode for chapter one, but adult Eddie couldn't be a virgin in the book because they all fucked Beverly in the most graphic description of 10 year olds having a gang bang that I never wated to read.
After seeing that CG werewolf, I'm absolutely glad I decided against seeing this movie.
Oh my, what a spooky space lobster clown blah that has powers over space and time until it doesn't have them....blah....such a waste of time, glad my friends provided the wine and food for this disasterpiece
the opening was maybe the least subtle thing ever lmao
Saying I like the movie and Mike and Jay are being harsh is a waste of time so I will instead say that there's nothing in any of the Nightmare on Elm St. movies that have scared me more than anything in the It movies (which is to say not at all on both accounts). I find the imagery fascinating in both of the It movies, perhaps more-so in the second. Jay saying he was bored during the "spider-head" bit and implying he didn't get anything at all from that scene just further discredits his opinions on movies for me. Jay is just a snob that doesn't like anything.
It had promise right up until they ran out of ideas and did "CGI thing shakes violently and lunges at camera" instead of anything remotely original or scary. Don't give a book like this to a director with only one or two other films under his belt. He let some scenes go on ten times longer than they should, and has no idea about tone, subtlety, FUCK MOVIS
*exec producer storms into sound editing booth*“Which one of you screwed up the sound on the Eddie and The Leper Scene?”*silence and crickets*“Well?”*silence**someone’s Juice Newton ringtone goes off*
“He marries a woman who’s exactly like his mom.”So exact they just hired the same actress for both parts.
NC parody skit was amazing.
I was very disappointed that I was not even creeped out once. The first film did that at least.
the bullies were scary. the clown not much.
i just watched this movie and it honestly was a comedy more than a horror film lmao. i enjoyed the first hour-ish then it turned into comedy.
It's just another shitty horror movie.
IT was gay.
This guy is so dry the desert is suing him for ignoring Madonna's DM's
26:12 - 26:30 The likes take over.
11:52 that cat deserves a lot of money for acting in this film.
This movie was so bad compared to the first.
No. I am sure it is intentionally funny. And on that level it kinda works. If not it is unintentionally funny and is such an editing nightmare it is hilarious.Either way it is the funniest movie I've ever seen involving children being eaten.
I love this channel after just finding out about it a few hours earlier. But, from what I gather, it seems like most of these reviews are about how all these movies kinda suck. Which isn’t a problem with these guy, it’s the film industry. Everything sucks now! Everything is just a cash grab! That’s why I’ve been trying to check out more independent films as of late. Besides that I do love these reviews. 👍
You are wrong about the bathroom scene where he makes fun of his mullet it clearly IS NOT adr.
I feel like the first chapter was well paced because they basically remade the original 1990 movie. The second chapter was all over the place because they tried to make it their own version, a retelling if you will. I would much rather have a prequel moving forward, and I use that term VERY loosely. I would like to see an out of the box telling of Pennywise in a different era in time that doesn't follow this current timeline. I didn't hate chapter two but it was not enjoyable what so ever.
Steven King“Ya know what would really pull this together? A gang-bang”
i actually forgot that this movie was ment to be horror. the jump scares didnt get me and there wasnt any creep
God it feels like this came out six months ago...
They should have spelled the title with a silent "sh" at the front. In case you were wondering, the title of the movie would read "Shit" and that's what the movie is: a pile of shit. Now... is it a good joke? Not really. Have other people thought of it before? Sure, but at least I had the balls to write it in a comment on TVclip.
@NADS IQ I watched it for free with my hot girlfriend. The losers are the people who paid for a ticket. Actually the real losers are the people who are afraid to write comments on TVclip. It takes the balls of a real man to do that.
yeah but you still watched. so who's the bigger loser?
so, the only creepy/suspenseful scene was the old lady and beth. and they ruined the end of it with a stupid cgi monster.
The characters also acted the exact same as when they were children. Other than maybe hader. All of them had zero maturation since childhood.
It 2 is the movie equivalent of peeling off a bandage to check healing progression.
bobcat goldwaith would make an awesome Pennywise
Came home with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and It 2 and my girl wanted to watch the spooky clown movie. We both went to bed pissed off.
but did you get an angry handy jay?
These cowards didn't even film no pre-teen Magical Orgy scenes, like in the book, where all the boys bang the little girl in the sewer, in order to...i forget, something about casting a spell to fight Pennywise? something like that... some sex magic perv hex, god only knows, S. King might have still been deeply into coke at the time, it would explain some things...
Finally got to watch It 2, so finally watching the review. It’s hard work avoiding spoilers. Thanks for pointing out the de-aging. Fing sloppy. Im wearing my new glasses and thought they needed adjustments when I saw Bill and Eddie. And I definitely agree the interesting character development needed more time. The plot was all over the place and nowhere. I don’t think McAvoy knows what a stutter sounds like. That being said, I enjoy most horror and enjoyed this movie for casual entertainment. I could always do with less cgi. The monsters looked cheap.
The posters should have been: Shhhhhh...IT 2
I agree...I was bored and wanted to leave the cinema too. Especially towards the end...terrible visual effects for an awful prolonged final act.
Wouldn't call it a horror it's more like a thriller
This time I'm on Jay's side with everything hes said. Let's not also forget the scenes with tension are all busted cause it gets interrupted with constant jokes
There's a good fan edit in this film waiting to get cut!
"Mike's Enjoyment of IT Chapter 2" would accurately describe this movie for me xD
next cinematic adaptation they should do is the langoliers, could be interesting with updated visuals
Endings are hard. Glad he has a sense of humor about it.
It doesn't look like creature. It looks like a guy in a clown costume.
As a teenager that is a fan of IT, I also majorly agree with the horror scenes being the worst. IT is at its best when it is a story about a group of friends overcoming childhood trauma and bonding and just Talking. The Losers Club are my favorite part of IT, and I absolutely love the Richie/Eddie storylines in the miniseries and movie, as well as the Ben/Beverly relationship.
Don't know about y'all but I thought it was rad. Loved it. Maybe better than part 1.
It’s annoying when you don’t watch the things you’re commenting on. Erm I think this happened maybe erm.....watch the fucking film you’re ragging on instead of half remembered thoughts. For ppl who talk about lazy film making you’re lazy reviewers. I’m sure you’re super busy talking on TVclip I mean you have all that editing to do, try having a real fucking job. All you had to do was watch the original n not vaguely remember it from 10 yrs ago. N you have the fucking gall to call film makers lazy. You aren’t wrong btw just being the same as the thing you don’t like
The tone of the movie felt more like Resident Evil (Goofy) than what the tone of Chapter 1 was.
Love how Jay puts the heavy book down, and Mike on the phone- Hey it's Mike IT's back.............your vcr it's repaired :-)
Just watched the movie. It is awful. The casting is too good for the movie to be this bad. I love the first one.
I legit spent 5 days watching this movie. Played it for like an hour, got bored, left it there for a day then got back, rinse repeat until I finished it.
The homage to “The Thing” was the best thing about this film.
The score in these movies keep me coming back. . A grouo of 7 people is somehow amazing to me. It makes me wish i had that even under there circumstances
Just saw it last night. Such a poorly structured film. What a boring slog to watch 5 different characters go on individual fetch-quests. I’d much rather they simply develop the characters through their own individual grown-up responsibilities/interactions than marching into these weightless spooky clown set-pieces.
