When it comes to horror, i dont really care about character stuff, only if its interesting, i just want to be entertained. and IT 2, in my opinion, was massively entertaining. Just a spook house, thats all i want

I know this was mentioned in the episode for chapter one, but adult Eddie couldn't be a virgin in the book because they all fucked Beverly in the most graphic description of 10 year olds having a gang bang that I never wated to read.

Saying I like the movie and Mike and Jay are being harsh is a waste of time so I will instead say that there's nothing in any of the Nightmare on Elm St. movies that have scared me more than anything in the It movies (which is to say not at all on both accounts). I find the imagery fascinating in both of the It movies, perhaps more-so in the second. Jay saying he was bored during the "spider-head" bit and implying he didn't get anything at all from that scene just further discredits his opinions on movies for me. Jay is just a snob that doesn't like anything.

It had promise right up until they ran out of ideas and did "CGI thing shakes violently and lunges at camera" instead of anything remotely original or scary. Don't give a book like this to a director with only one or two other films under his belt. He let some scenes go on ten times longer than they should, and has no idea about tone, subtlety, FUCK MOVIS

No. I am sure it is intentionally funny. And on that level it kinda works.
If not it is unintentionally funny and is such an editing nightmare it is hilarious.
Either way it is the funniest movie I've ever seen involving children being eaten.

I love this channel after just finding out about it a few hours earlier. But, from what I gather, it seems like most of these reviews are about how all these movies kinda suck. Which isn’t a problem with these guy, it’s the film industry. Everything sucks now! Everything is just a cash grab! That’s why I’ve been trying to check out more independent films as of late.
Besides that I do love these reviews. 👍

I feel like the first chapter was well paced because they basically remade the original 1990 movie. The second chapter was all over the place because they tried to make it their own version, a retelling if you will. I would much rather have a prequel moving forward, and I use that term VERY loosely. I would like to see an out of the box telling of Pennywise in a different era in time that doesn't follow this current timeline. I didn't hate chapter two but it was not enjoyable what so ever.

They should have spelled the title with a silent "sh" at the front.

In case you were wondering, the title of the movie would read "Shit" and that's what the movie is: a pile of shit. Now... is it a good joke? Not really. Have other people thought of it before? Sure, but at least I had the balls to write it in a comment on TVclip.

@NADS IQ I watched it for free with my hot girlfriend. The losers are the people who paid for a ticket. Actually the real losers are the people who are afraid to write comments on TVclip. It takes the balls of a real man to do that.

These cowards didn't even film no pre-teen Magical Orgy scenes, like in the book, where all the boys bang the little girl in the sewer, in order to...i forget, something about casting a spell to fight Pennywise? something like that... some sex magic perv hex, god only knows, S. King might have still been deeply into coke at the time, it would explain some things...

Finally got to watch It 2, so finally watching the review. It’s hard work avoiding spoilers. Thanks for pointing out the de-aging. Fing sloppy. Im wearing my new glasses and thought they needed adjustments when I saw Bill and Eddie. And I definitely agree the interesting character development needed more time. The plot was all over the place and nowhere. I don’t think McAvoy knows what a stutter sounds like. That being said, I enjoy most horror and enjoyed this movie for casual entertainment. I could always do with less cgi. The monsters looked cheap.

As a teenager that is a fan of IT, I also majorly agree with the horror scenes being the worst. IT is at its best when it is a story about a group of friends overcoming childhood trauma and bonding and just Talking. The Losers Club are my favorite part of IT, and I absolutely love the Richie/Eddie storylines in the miniseries and movie, as well as the Ben/Beverly relationship.

  • Just another voice screaming into the void

It’s annoying when you don’t watch the things you’re commenting on. Erm I think this happened maybe erm.....watch the fucking film you’re ragging on instead of half remembered thoughts. For ppl who talk about lazy film making you’re lazy reviewers. I’m sure you’re super busy talking on TVclip I mean you have all that editing to do, try having a real fucking job. All you had to do was watch the original n not vaguely remember it from 10 yrs ago. N you have the fucking gall to call film makers lazy. You aren’t wrong btw just being the same as the thing you don’t like

Just saw it last night. Such a poorly structured film. What a boring slog to watch 5 different characters go on individual fetch-quests. I’d much rather they simply develop the characters through their own individual grown-up responsibilities/interactions than marching into these weightless spooky clown set-pieces.
