This man is Dog in the best way , a big inspiration in my life RJ jr is my favorite boxer but not because of boxing 🥊 but because his approach to understanding all things are animals and the animal type I am is human being and the translation of the animal pit bull as a resemblance of style or approach of another’s skill in the greatest gift god gave us the fittest and the hierarchy of man and who was really in control thanks Roy deeply

Please stop boxing Roy! Nobody wants to see their champ getting knocked into next week senselessly again, that he doesn't remember if his name is Rob, Roy, Ron or Samantha. You are losing touch with reality already.

I was there at that fight. Let me tell you, Ruiz NAILED it. Outboxed out punched everything. Totally deserved that win.
If I was Ruiz, I'd defo be VERY happy about the rematch. He whooped him. Stands a great chance of doing it again and gets a purse and the belts.

Im a JOSHUA fan and FROM England and i knew this was going to happen one day as after the Old 43-years old KLICHKO DROPPED JOSHUA in that fight but klichko was too TIERED to finnish HIM i knew then that Joshua was loseing that fight but only his YOUTHFULNESS won it...
Plus as a champ hes never been away from home EITHER all the hallmarks of a PROTECTED fighter making tonnes of cash.
So when Ruiz got up and was still FRESH i knew JOSHUA was in a Tuff Tuff FIGHT.
Once A.J got knocked Down then i knew he would be tested too the Max but when i saw Ruiz outbox him OUTSIDE & INSIDE i then knew we was looking at a new CHAMPION Ruiz not only beat A.J he made him STOP on his feet call it what you will but A.J QUIT thats hard to come frkm a A.J fan but PEOPLE need to give Ruiz BETTER RESPECT for his endurance too as he took some clean PUNCHES and walked STRAITE thought A.J to land his own BIG Shot's

Makes a lot of sense. I felt Anthony Joshua was not at the top of his game. He seemed confused and not prepared for this match.

NO ROY JONES. YES JOSHUA LOST TO RUIZ. BUT HE LOST BECAUSE HE WAS SOFT WITH RUIZ. WAS OVERCONFIDENT. DIDN'T PUT ON HIS DEFENSES CONSTANTLY AND RIGHT. AND YOU FOR ONCE NEVER MENTIONED THE FACT THAT JOSHUA KNOCKED DOWN RUIZ FIRST. AFTER THAT TIME RUIZ BECAME DESPERATE, AND WHILE HE STARTED FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE AND CAREER, JOSHUA THOUGHT HE ALREADY HAD HIM. I SAY THIS BECAUSE TO DATE, JOSHUA'S TOUGHEST FIGHT WAS AGAINST VITALY KLITSCHKO. AND HE NEVER DROPPED HIS GUARD DURING THAT FIGHT, PAID COMPLETE ATTENTION. WAS FULLY FOCUSED AND AT NO TIME TOOK HIS OPPONENT FOR GRANTED. THE PRIZE HE GOT WAS THE REWARD OF A KNOCK OUT AGAINST KLITSCHKO. AN EXAMPLE WAS ALI AND FRAZIER'S FIRST FIGHT. ALI HAD MADE A BLOOD MASS OF FRAZIER'S FACE EVEN AFTER BEING RUSTY FOR MORE THAN FIVE YEARS. THEN HE WENT TAUNTING AND MOCKING FRAZIER TOWARDS THE END ROUNDS OF THE BOUT WHICH WAS ALI'S MISTAKE. AND THAT WAS HOW FRAZIER PULLED OUT THAT LUCKY SHOT. WHILE FRAZIER HATED ALI EVEN UNTIL HIS DEATH SO BADLY, JUST BECAUSE OF ALI'S PERSONALITY, HE COULD NOT KNOCK HIM OUT IN THAT FIGHT, NEITHER COULD HE IN THEIR SUBSEQUENT TWO MATCHES. FRAZIER WAS TOO DETERMINED TO BEAT ALI, MEANWHILE ALI WAS NOT A BEAST IN THE RING. ALI WAS THE FAIREST FIGHTER IN BOXING. IN MY MIND FRAZIER'S ULTIMATE TEST WAS NOT AGAINST ALI, BUT AGAINST GEORGE FOREMAN, WHO KNOCKED HIM OUT LIKE A PIECE OF PAPER BECAUSE HE DIDN'T FIGHT FOREMAN WITH THE SAME DETERMINATION AS HE DID ALI. IN SUMMATION, IF JOSHUA AND RUIZ FIGHT AGAIN, I PREDICT IT WILL BE DIFFERENT, AND JOSHUA WILL KNOCK RUIZ OUT.

Roy Jones is so real! The cat tells it like it is. Absolutely right about Ruiz. Something about fighters: when they are fighting somebody with as many technical weaknesses as Joshua---Joshua consistently holds his left hand low, which makes him wide-open for lead right hooks and lead overhand rights---they will not hesitate to exploit those weaknesses. Ruiz never hesitated to land lead right hooks and even wicked-fast lead overhand rights when he knew that Joshua was looking for a lead left jab. Ali did the same thing to Foreman in Zaire, with his brilliant lead right hands that nailed Foreman all night. And Roy Jones nailed it on Ruiz. Ruiz has very fast hands, throws great combinations and is fearless.

Roy is well spoken and can assess boxing and boxers, but he popularized the low risks for high reward that is a trend today and that is why fighters fight apex rivals infrequent. Then Floyd Mayweather doubled the manipulative match making scheme into acute shamefulness. Both of them significantly cheated their legacies. Research folks. Today’s glitter is the new gladiator. Not with me and many others that are integrity based.

With that logic no one should ever rematch. Ali got outboxed by Frazier and lost. Everyone said Ali couldnt beat Frazier. Ali came back and beat him twice. Theyre all professionals. Anyone can win at any time. Just because you get outboxed on one night doesnt mean you cant come back and beat the person that outboxed you on another night.
