    heya I saw your viedeo on poached eggs. if they are made in the "plastic bag" it take 3 minutes ish but why do 2of them in one bad take 6 mins? cheers! and your blog is really lovely and helpful! greetings from germany:)

    Why would you boil the eggs for 8 minutes? They're not supposed to be hard boiled I've seen other recipes only asked for about 3 to 4 minutes tops

    Plastic bag method did not work. Although it might have been because I had too many mimosas and didn't ensure that I got all the air out of the saran wrap that I used. Either way total egg poaching failure. Luckily my girlfriend is an excellent home cook and saved the day with old fashioned poached eggs with vinegar, and a water funnel. Thanks for nothing Jamie oliver. No, you really helped us with our hollandaise sauce. Thanks for all your help in the kitchen, and I promise I'll follow your directions better next time I swear.
