In my latest scouting report, I wanted to look at the top two tight ends in this draft. Both of these players are coming out of Iowa! First up is T.J. Hockenson (#38). Hockenson is an incredible run blocker and has upside as a receiver. I think he can improve on the subtlety to the way he runs, but he's smart, plays with a lot of effort, and once he improves (or rather decreases his urgency) on 2nd/3rd level blocks, he'll be a top run blocker in the NFL.

Lions got a great player. Would've loved to have seen him in the Black and Gold in the NFL as well, but wish him the best as I do any of our former Hawkeyes.
Fant can be deadly too. I'm not a huge fan of Flacco, but he loves his TEs so that's a big plus for Fant going to the Broncos.

He won't pan out in Detroit. Stafford isn't that type of QB as Andrew Luck

Ebron only had a good year cause he got more red zone targets. He’s still tops in the league for drops and also is still terrible at blocking

I pray the Lions 🦁 select Hockenson, he has the best hands in the draft without any without hesitation I’d take him in the top 10. People who say not to draft him high because of his position but he can hide so many flaws on a offense and not only catches balls but can pancake a defensive end. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Ya cuz of the Eric Ebron experiment.. All us fans skeptical af, but Ebron was nowhere near this kid's level of blocking coming outta UNC..and with new coordinator from Seattle trying to take the run first approach I think it was good decision and a very much needed one..Still want to see us grab a corner today tho my mans Slay need some help._c'mon Greedy !!

Packers will be in the hunt at pick #12 for this guy. Been needing a savage TE since Finley got injured. The Lions or Bengals will probably snag him though.

Good call, I didn't really like it at first, just because it doesn't seem like te is a hugely important position, but the more I watch videos like this, it's clearly a great pick.

@Samuel Gold I'd agree with Jacobs. If you were a GM, and needed a #2 RB, would you take a chance on Bryce Love if he's there in rounds 3-5? I feel like everyone forgot how good he was before he got hurt in that bowl game.

I think White is the better fit and Fangio could show how he produces some of the best linebackers ever. Also, if I'm not mistaken, there are a couple talented tight ends in the class so it might be unnecessary to take one at 10

They already have 10 mil invested in Jimmy Graham, but the NFL is becoming a 2 TE league even though the Packers haven’t really adopted this belief. I would rather see them bolster their O-line in the draft now that they’re FINALLY in the mood to give Aaron Rodgers some help. Maybe Jawaan Taylor or Andre Dillard?
