These people are super wealthy liars- the widely replicated, scientific
data proves it. What they say are widely held, 'diverse' opinions are
actually morally puritan, socially un-diverse beliefs held by a single
digit percentage of people- just check/google The Hidden Tribes Report

Why did you leave the banner “Golden Globe Surprises” on for the entire time? I mean, we got that. Not only you could have highlighted some other useful info, but it was also covering the names of the films and nominees underneath.
    Btw happy for Bohemian Rhapsody.

    Why were these moments
    ' The Best!'
0:44---- is that the first time a woman ever won an award for:
    1. Writing
    2. Singing
    3. Playing the instruments (to her OWN work)?
    * it's only been three years have I been going back to read on:
    1. Who are the original writers of songs
    2. Check who sings that song
    3. & wonder why are these singers singing other people's work, history, agenda, and dark mystery....
Since it is the season for one to
'Mind their Own business!' I'll stay out of your way
    2. 1:17 ??????????? The direction of our country heading

    * it

Bohemian Rhapsody is an enjoyable movie.
But is it NOT a Biopic about either Freddie Mercury or Queen!!
It is a work if FICTION.
Most of what is portrayed in the movie NEVER happened (or happened completely differently).
There are so many inaccuracies in the movie it's ridiculous.

Things I’ve never heard of: Olivia Coleman, The favorite, if Beale street could talk, Roma and The Wife. Btw Jeff bridges talked for like 30 minutes about literally NOTHING, I’ll never get that time back. Whole thing was boring and too political. Use the films and tv shows to push your agenda, not an award show that slots you 1minute for your speech.

So sick of this identity politics crap, human beings reduced to superficial labels and having victim points awarded. If that's the road we have to tread, where were the disabled people? Why no vow to employ 50% Eskimos on a project? It's not a practicable way of thinking. Someone will always lose out. Here's an idea: why don't we judge people on their actions and talent? And Gaga's comment about women musicians and song writers not being taken seriously is utter horsesh*t. Try telling that to people like Kate Bush, Carole King, Carly Simon and Dianne Warren whose achievements she diminishes with her insulting and reductive clap-trap.

It would be better if Sandra Oh were Asian Canadian/Indigenous, Transgender non-binary, proud hijab-wearing Muslim, vegan, disabled, human/extraterrestrial hybrid. Did I miss anything? Then "they" could be an empowered brave compassionate and courageous champion of all oppressed, marginalized, disenfranchised and discriminated, disproportionately disempowered sentient beings everywhere! It would also enhance her career, greatly!

  • Lucid Dreamer

    Today Show:
If you feel that "Desmond Is Amazing" (Desmond Napoles) is "empowered," an "icon," "inspiring," is "embracing his authenticity" and that his parents are "champions" of the LGBTQ "community," you are a dangerous sociopath. This is you: Good Morning America, Today Show and most of the media. You have blood on your hands. You've encouraged/empowered Michael Alig and other psychopaths, in their manipulation/destruction of this young boy: Desmond Napoles. Most human beings are being utterly deceived by the sweet and oh-so-"spiritual," "metaphysical," "self expressive" and "transcendent" sounding words and phrases of those who are creating/promoting irrevocable damage to others' minds, in order to enhance their own careers.

What did you think of Regina King's statement that everything she will produce will be 50% women? In life things typically aren't always 50-50. What if she is offered a role of a lifetime in a setting where the movie calls for predominantly men? Do you think she would decline it? Just expecting parity in all movies seems a bit difficult to me, especially if it doesn't serve the narrative. In some cases the movie may call for more of a focus on women (e.g. Widows) and in some cases it may call for more of a focus on men.

    • the Man
      the Man 5 months ago

@Bianca Bumblebee I don't see why nuance should be dispensed with when making change. Taking a despotic or unilateral approach can actually be more damaging. It should be about give and take and engendering change in a reasonable and pragmatic way. Change should not be sired by making grandiose demands with an iron fist or a take-it-or-leave-it approach, that will likely beget resentment and bitterness.

    • Bianca Bumblebee
      Bianca Bumblebee 5 months ago

the Man nuance is indeed important when making decisions. But it is not when making changes.

    • the Man
      the Man 5 months ago

@Bianca Bumblebee well that's too bad, because I don't think the gender disparity on the show was done to be malicious or to be subjugating in any way. Imagine if I didn't marry the person of my dreams because they had 3 boys and 1 girl, and not an even distribution of boys and girls (obviously the latter may be construed as an extreme example, but based on what Regina said, she would ostensibly repudiate the film of her dreams if there is not a 50-50 gender split). My main gripe with Regina's statement was the blanket nature of it, I don't think its healthy to adopt such a hard view. Nuance is important in making all decisions.

    • Bianca Bumblebee
      Bianca Bumblebee 5 months ago

the Man yes, that means she would decline a role on stranger things, only one of many hundreds of shows currently in production of a third season or more.
